Lift Day
The day I would find out how well I did an
important phase of my job. All the roof
curbs/penetrations must be sized, leveled
and positioned in the right place/direction.
There is no other heart pounding moment
on a project other than this one. Everything
seems to boil down to this day.
I remember the helicopter pilot telling us
how dangerous this was, making us aware
that he would "drop the load" in case of an
emergency. I remember the exhaust fumes
and air pushing down on me and Scott.
As the rest of the crew rigged for the lift on
the ground Scott and I was in charge of
stopping the spinning equipment and
guiding it to the roof curb. The unit in the
picture was the smallest of them all.

I dedicate all the photos within my album to the workers in the photos. Each and every person in my photos had a direct influence
on my life. My intention is to share my moments with prior co-workers and any others interested, NOT for commercial use!
